g4g @ SF Bay Area is Back!

Goa Sudharop is partnering with Greenlight for Girls to host another g4g @SF Bay Area event in Oakland this year! This is a free full-day event of interactive activities using Science, Technology, Engineering and Math to encourage 10-15 year old girls to think about a future in STEM!

This event has been held in Goa since 2016 and we are excited to give our local San Francisco Bay Area community the opportunity to be a mentor and inspire the next generation of STEM leaders. If you are interested in volunteering to help with a workshop, be a group leader, or help with other event day support, please let us know. Volunteers will be offered training and support to make this a successful event.

Where? Oakland Technical High School, 4351 Broadway, Oakland, CA

When? Saturday, April 28th, 9 AM to 4 PM

What? We welcome 100 girls aged 10-15 to a day of interactive, hands-on, unbelievable fun in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics!

How? We invite role models and professionals to lead 45 minute workshops that show the link to STEM, with 10 - 12 girls in one workshop. Girls will have a chance to experience 4 workshops throughout the day.​

How Can You Be Involved?

• ​In-Kind donations, such as providing supplies for the girls, or contributing educational giveaways with your company's logo.

• Lead a STEM-related workshop! Bring your professional skills and talents and we can work with your to develop a hands-on workshop!

• Lunch & networking opportunity! Join us for an interactive lunch and inspire the girls directly as a role-model in your industry.

• Become a Group Leader and be responsible for engaging a group of girls throughout the day, while joining their scheduled workshops.
